Kayak Crossing from Llachon to Taquile Island + Titicaca Uncovered

This great adventure begins at 7:00 am with a transfer from your hotel to the port.

at 7:15 am Start of kayak to Uros island

At 8:30am. We then travel by  motor boat towards the peninsula of Capachica and after of only 1 hour of navigation!! We reach Santa Maria – Llachon.

This is for sure one of the most scenic spots of Lake Titicaca, with terrific Lake Titicaca views.

It will be then the starting point of our adventure.

TITICACA WORLDWIDE is a direct kayak operator, they do not sub contract others.

At 10: am get ready to start kayaking with the guide

Who will give us the security briefing and basic paddling instructions and help us the get on properly the kayak gear, flotation device etc. (No previous experience required, but good physical condition, but please report your guide any medical condition).

At 10:15 am we start paddling from the tip of the Peninsula of Capachica towards Taquile Island (10km).

The quietness and immensity of the lake will be our travel partners, enjoy the stunning views of the Lake and the snow caped mountains on the distance, along the way we make some stops for resting and re-hydrating, finally we arrive to Taquile Island at 12:00 pm, and lunch.

On arrival you’ll have a quick exploration of Taquile Island, and observe briefly this traditional community.

Then we join the Titicaca Uncovered Tour and finally at 2:00 pm we leave the island.

4:00 pm. Arrival to the community of Uros floating island, in this time, we are going to visit one island.

We are welcomed by a small community and quickly introduced to an intensive cross cultural experience, observe their traditions

5:00 pm return to Puno
